Take of running with shoes of led,
From fearsome demons your mind has fed.
Rev up your heart so your mind doesn't stall.
Hit the dirt road and not the brick wall.
Scream out war cries and direct them at you,
As you pull at your seams and get ripped in two.
Lay out all your parts in a categorized manner,
Say your respects and get smashed with a hammer.
Destroy everything: the sun and the moon,
The memories you embrace when you're alone in your room.
The baggage that burdens and bogs you down,
The voices that heckle and prevent sleeping sound.
Release all constraints and impact of time;
Crawl out of the darkness inside your own mind.
There in the deep will forever remain,
Old version of you to which you were chained.
Discover, in light, you are completely unscathed,
And stronger than imagined in surprising new ways.
